Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton has received W.F.P.’s written notice recognizing Pendleton as a Bishop of the General Church. As there was some doubt as to Pendleton’s current standing, he read W.F.P.’s announcement from the pulpit to the Pittsburgh congregation.
